this is insane to me. crocheting a pillow is a pretty standard pattern within itself, and if you want to put pixel art on it and cross stitch, you could just look at perler bead patterns/cross stitch patterns and go crazy... but $15 for a plain ol pillow pattern and basically just a cross stitch of sprites in game that you can get the assets for on the stardew wiki? thats so shady.

People get very upset when hysteria is suggested, I understand why, historically and in certain groups. But please know if you suffer an illness from 'hysteria' those symptoms are still legitimate, you should still receive treatment and experiencing hysteria doesn't mean you're stupid. I think Soph probably didn’t need to bring up her surprise about the price in her initial video and should also consider the fact that if you don’t know why someone would need/want something made a certain way then it’s not made for you, but also I think that instead of stitching the initial video, Shelby should have just contacted Soph directly about it.

I really don't think either of them are in the wrong here.

Not me seeing this pattern and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever on tiktok, only to open youtube and have this video in my recommended. I'm still new to crochet but i didn't realise this was a big deal, i just think it is awesome that the pattern uses crochet and cross stitch.

My art isn't for nazis and it isn't made to represent or promote these harmful ideas. It looks like his art isn't either. Good for him.

This whole "copying" interior design issue is wild to me. As if 30/40 years ago people didn't buy whole collections of themed items (i.e. geese with ribbons, sunflower, merry mushrooms) out of catalogs. It was popular and available so every kitchen looked the same! How can someone be mad that they shared a design and people liked it so much they wanted to use it too? I understand everyone wants to be unique but if that's the case just keep it offline.

If there is an ONGOING POLICE INVESTIGATION, one of the first things the police would instruct her to do is to REFRAIN from posting ANYTHING that could be construed as evidence in their investigation. Also... no one is obligated to give that information, and it is good sense NOT to, since things of this nature tend to invoke mob mentalities. I live in Australia and did pottery for a few months to learn. The clay is just so expensive, then you have to fire your creation in a kiln, again expensive. I would say that the Potter in question would most likely have her own kiln so again expensive. The cost of power has gone through the roof. Would I pay $100 for a mug. No, I can't afford it. Would I make one, no can't aford that either. Interest rates have risen 12 times in 3 years.

My father worked in a small porcelain factory for most of his life. They made plates, cups, etc. for hotels, restaurants and such. They didn't hand sculp the product, they used molds. But guess what. My father handmade the molds.

Bug Info: that is a House Centipede! They are friendly carnivores who eat ants and other tiny bugs we can't see. We tend to see them in Spring when they're moving from their winter hunting grounds (bathrooms) to their summer hunting grounds (outside) and vice versa in the Fall. :)
